Introduction
MaxRexx is actually similar to the Assembler, C, E and AMOS Doorpacks in that it
provides you with a way of writing doors for Maxs BBS. MAXREXX allows you to
write doors for Maxs BBS in AREXX, which is as far as I know the first of its
kind for Maxs BBS. A lot of people do program in AREXX and nothing else, and AMOS
doors aren't exactly system friendly. MaxRexx may even be a benefit to those who
can already program in the more complex languages such as Asm, C and E for its
simplicity, you can literally knock up doors in seconds. It provides some other
functions that you can't implement in doors in other languages with ease, for
example you can execute a MAXREXX door from within another MAXREXX door. You can
control other system programs that have AREXX ports, from within a MAXREXX door.
It also makes it very easy to have doors communicating with each other over a
multiline system making internode chat doors easy.
